The NAACP St. Louis County's mission is to build a more equitable St. Louis region and state. Our work starts with:
- Fighting racial injustice by building Black political, social, and economic power.
- Championing an inclusive economy, allowing the upward mobility needed for Black Americans to thrive.
- Advocacy & litigation: fair and just representation for all in our courts and in local and state government.
- Lobbying for equitable local and state policies that establish education standards, allocate resources, and set priorities for education and workforce systems.
- Advancing the health & well-being of Black communities: creating an inclusive culture of health and equitable social health systems.
- Mitigating the disproportionate impact of climate change on Black communities by standing up for environmental & climate justice.
- Investing in next generation leadership: support for young leaders and change agents.
How is this all possible? It starts with you..
Our annual Freedom Fund Dinner is our largest fundraising event of the year. We ask donors like you to come together for an incredible night of fellowship and to raise funds that allow us to do our work for the year. This year marks the 88th year of our Freedom Fund Dinner, and we are excited to ask you to join.
